This course begins assuming you at least know the basic rules of backgammon… maybe a friend or family member showed you how to play, and you’re interested in improving. If that isn’t the case, and you’re really starting from 0, you should maybe start by reading the rules on wikipedia or backgammon galore.
In this course, we are going to learn a lot about checker play and cube play… but before we can really start our journey towards improvement, we need to get everyone up to speed on the basics, starting with our first lesson, on backgammon notation.
